“We were very pleased with the yearly maintenance work that was done by Gabriel Tabor. He was very polite and professional. Would highly recommend him. The office personnel I spoke to was alo very polite and professional. Easy to schedule an appointment.”
“Colin was a great communicator and awesome to work with! From the first educational visit, through option and service plan pricing, through installation, everybody was great to work with. I’d recommend Generators for Sale to anyone that’s looking to add a generator to their home.”
“The crew I had to install my Generac generator were very experienced and knowledgable. Very professional and did the work in one day. The experience met my every expectation an more. They even accomodated my very interested german shepard dog Winston. He tried to get hired on the spot by helping them dig to prep the ground to place the gererator. Not only professional, bu very friendly service ans they just mad Winston feel like one of the guys!”
Yes — we partner with multiple lenders to offer financing on installations starting at 0% APR for qualified buyers. Terms range from 12 to 84 months. Most homeowners are pre-approved in under 5 minutes during the in-home consultation.
We never tie financing to your decision: pricing is the same whether you pay cash or finance.
Most residential whole-house generator installations are completed in 1–2 days. Day one covers the concrete pad, generator placement, gas line connection, and electrical work. Day two covers the transfer switch tie-in, system commissioning, and a full owner walkthrough.
Larger installations or homes that need an electrical panel upgrade may take an extra day. Our team handles all permits and inspections so you don’t have to chase down the city.
We recommend annual professional maintenance plus a self-check before the start of each storm season. Manufacturers void warranty claims when scheduled maintenance is skipped, so it’s not optional if you want to keep coverage intact.
A typical annual service includes oil + filter change, battery load test, spark plug + air filter inspection, transfer switch exercise, and a full diagnostic readout.
If you already have natural gas service to your home, that’s almost always the right choice — there’s no tank to refill and the fuel supply is effectively unlimited during an outage. Natural gas generators also tend to have lower lifetime fuel costs.
LP (liquid propane) is the right answer if you don’t have natural gas service, if you live rurally, or if you want fuel independence from utility infrastructure. We install both — and our installer will help you weigh the trade-offs for your property.
New Generac Guardian Series generators come with a 5-year limited warranty covering parts and labor. We also include a 1-year labor warranty on the installation itself.
Maintenance plan customers get extended coverage on common wear parts (batteries, filters, spark plugs) and free firmware updates for the life of the unit.
It depends on which circuits you want to power and the size of your home. As a rough guide:
– 1,800–2,500 sq ft, essential circuits only — 14kW–18kW
– 2,500–3,500 sq ft, whole-house coverage — 22kW–24kW
– 3,500+ sq ft or homes with electric heat / pool / multiple AC zones — 26kW+
We never over-sell. Every quote includes a free in-home load calculation so you only pay for the capacity you actually need.
